Update: April 30, 2008

This week, we kicked off our Spring Membership Drive from our temporary facilities. We had some fun trying to find microphones and headphones so that we could conduct the drive but once that task was accomplished, it was smooth sailing.

Our new home continues to come together and this week marked the beginning of the installation of our satellite dish on the roof of Serena Hall.

Update: April 24, 2008

This week marked somewhat of a turning point for us in our new home here in Serena Hall because our new studios are starting to look like radio studios. What a good feeling...

The studio cabinetry is assembled, the new audio boards are in place and audio cables connecting the new studios to our new Technical Operations Center are in place and ready for Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Car Talk.

Weekly Update: April 17, 2008

Construction continues on Southeast Public Radio's new studios in Serena Hall. This week, audio wiring has arrived on site and will be installed tomorrow. Also this week the studio cabinetry arrived and will be assembled this week and next. A hole was made in the roof for a new heating and cooling unit and doors are being installed.


Most of the painting is done in the studios and office area and installation of the track lighting in the master control and production studios is underway.
