Our permanent satellite dish is officially installed and bringing us our NPR News programs. In the photo below, workers are assembling the pedastal the satellite dish will be placed on -- Academic Hall is in the background.
In the photo below, workers are lifting the satellite dish onto the pedestal on the roof. The photo looks calm and peaceful but it was VERY windy the day this work was done. The crane operator and the folks from the University's Facilities Management Staff did a super job.
Work has been going on inside, too. We were all very excited to see our "On-Air" lights go up.
